Origin and family : Saïdina was born and raised on the island of Mayotte, in a united and dynamic family. Coming from a family of five children, he is the third and first boy, which has given him a role as a protective and inspiring big brother for his sisters. His family owns land in the village, inherited from his grandparents, who were respected farmers and landowners on the island. On the one hand, her maternal grandparents were successful farmers, while on the paternal side, her grandfather was a respected general practitioner and her grandmother was a dedicated housewife. These different family influences helped shape the rich diversity of her interests and values.
Childhood and environment : Saïdina grew up in a green environment, surrounded by the lush nature of Mayotte and the crystal clear waters of its beautiful lagoon. This closeness to nature nourished his curious mind and his love for the great outdoors. He spent his childhood exploring pristine beaches and wooded trails, which reinforced his deep connection to his environment.
Passions and commitments : As a teenager, Saïdina was attracted by surpassing oneself and exploring one’s limits. This led him to enlist in the army, where he found fertile ground to test his resilience and courage. After witnessing waves of attacks in his country, he pledged to stand firm for his political and religious beliefs, seeking to bring positive change to his community.
Cultural and literary interests : Despite his military commitment, Saïdina has always been attracted to arts and literature. He found inspiration in the poetry of Jean de La Fontaine and Joachim du Bellay, who gave him a taste for travel and introspective reflection. Her readings have also extended to the areas of marketing, management and personal development, reflecting her constant desire for personal and professional growth.
Professional and artistic projects : Saïdina aspires to a career as an independent artist, where he can express his creativity through his works exhibited in art galleries around the world. He also plans to collaborate with other artists to explore new perspectives and enrich his work. Alongside her artistic commitment, Saïdina wants to use her art as a way to raise awareness of the social and environmental issues that are important to her, illustrating her commitment to her community and her environment.
Personal evolution : Saïdina saw her perception of life evolve through significant personal experiences, including a traumatic break that nearly cost her life. This experience inspired him to take a deeper perspective on life and live every moment with passion and determination. He believes that leaving behind an artistic and memorable legacy is the best way to make sense of his life and leave a positive imprint on the world.
Languages : Saïdina’s linguistic identity is rooted in his ancestral heritage. His forebears arrived in Mayotte from Madagascar in the early 19th century and settled in villages such as Ngouja, Tchangamouji, and later Acoua, where Malagasy culture remained strong. From this lineage comes his mother tongue, Shibushi (Kibushi or Chibouchi), a language derived from Malagasy that is still spoken in parts of Mayotte today. Growing up in a French territory, he also learned French at school and uses it daily. Saïdina studied English and Spanish as well, and continues to improve them, seeing languages as bridges to cultures, travel, and human connection across the world.
Family situation : Saïdina is in partnership with his wife, Hayati Boura, whom he met in college. Their relationship, founded on strong friendship and deep love, has flourished over the years, giving birth to two children, Zayan and Hayssa, who represent the heart and soul of their family. Together, they share moments of joy, inspiration and growth, forming an indissoluble bond within their home.
Looking back on my journey so far, I realize that every challenge, challenge and moment of joy has helped shape the man I am today. I am grateful for the lessons learned, the friendships made and the accomplishments. But my journey is just beginning. Driven by a passionate passion for art, social justice and surpassing oneself, I resolutely embark on the future, determined to leave a positive imprint on this world. May every brush, word and action reflect my commitment to beauty, truth and compassion. Because I firmly believe that our potential is unlimited, and that every moment is an opportunity to create, inspire and transform. So may the story of my life be a testimony of courage, resilience and love, and may my works continue to illuminate hearts and minds for generations to come.
